ASA consolidates the FAA regulations and procedures into easy-to-use reference books of information pertinent to pilots, flight crew, and aviation maintenance technicians. Softcover, indexed and illustrated, 1,072 pages.
Frequently asked FAR/AIM Questions:
1. Do you make a FAR/AIM with larger print? No, we do not. However, you can print/view/copy all regulations using the Pro Flight Library CD (product code ASA-CD-FL-PRO) -- using any size font/paper that will work best for you.
2. Is my 2009 FAR/AIM good until the end of the year? ASA publishes the FAR/AIM in September each year. The FAA can make changes to the FARs any time they deem necessary (via the Federal Registers) and the AIM changes in February and August. We recommend you visit ASA's FAR Update page to sign up for the Update subscription service. This free service will provide you with an email whenever there is a change to the regulations or AIM.
3. Why aren't the most recent regulation changes included in my brand new FAR/AIM book? Changes to the Federal Aviation Regulations can occur daily via the Federal Registers, and the Aeronautical Information Manual is updated every 6 months. Updates provide regulation changes shortly after their release, and include final rules released by the FAA but not yet effective.
